Stirling Rowing Club is a club of mixed abilities with Worlds Vets champion and Scottish Junior & Senior champions amongst our members.
We're also mixed age groups from the juniors club which has about 40+ juniors, aged 12-18, student members from 18-23 and the seniors which has about 35+ members in it ranging from early 20's to 50's and 'even more' seniors from 50's to 70's.

We currently have 8 fully trained Level 2 qualified coaches, who coach our junior members and beginner/improver seniors. We have a fairly large fleet of boats including single and double sculls/pairs plus Quad sculls/fours, plus a double training gig and a safety launch.
We train on a Tuesday evening from about 6:30pm till it gets dark, and again on Thursdays too.
When the clocks change we can't get out onto the river in the evening due to limited daylight, so we to do circuit and ergo (indoor rowing) training to keep fit.
We also train on a Sunday mornings at 9.30am till about 1pm. Sundays never stop and we train through the winter and the only Sundays we don't go out is between Christmas and New Year, otherwise we're out there on the water, safety permitting.

The Littleton Trust once again in November 2016, awarded us £3,000 towards the purchase of a second hand quality single scull to replace the old Sims boat which is falling apart.  We are extremely grateful for their continued support to our club.
