Masthead

Introduction

Stirling Rowing Club is a club of mixed abilities ranging from complete beginners to the Worlds Vets champion, 2006 and Scottish Junior champion 2008.

We're also mixed age groups from the juniors club which has about 15 juniors, aged 12-14 and the seniors which has about 25 in it ranging from early 20's to 50's.

We are delighted to welcome new comers and happy to introduce them to the sport.

We train on a Tuesday evening from about 6:00pm till it gets dark.

When the clocks change we find we can't get out onto the river in the evening so we to do circuit training to keep fit. We also train on a Sunday mornings at 9am till about 12pm. Sundays never stop and we train through the winter and the only Sunday we don't go out is Christmas or New Year, otherwise we're out there unless there is a hurricane.
